“Full of energy day”

As if it was my first time I went to vote this October 25th. Without an alarm clock I got up, excited, in fact I didn't take a bath hehe, but certainly with my clean thoughts, I grabbed my trusty bike and left with only one goal, to get to vote. It was about 15 minutes walking and I arrived at the Enrique Maldonado Higher Institute of Commerce, where I had to vote. I locked my bike and waited in line, about 7 minutes passed and I was already inside, anxious, excited to go to the polls, with my unforgettable blue pencil. I only made 2 stripes, that was all I did, but it felt so good, at last after so much struggle, so much street, so much shouting, at last the dream of a new constitution could come true. When I came out I felt so good and at the same time it was paradoxical, I had only done 2 lines on 2 papers, but at the same time I had done a lot, for our  people and for  our  territory.

On the way back I had never seen the center of Talca, a Sunday morning so full, you could feel in the air this energy that we were all going to vote. I went to motivate my grandmother, I went to have breakfast with her, it was already 11:30 am, she had a matecito with me and then she went to fulfill her civic duty. That day he was no doubt nervous, saying and if he wins the rejection? if the votes were bought? all badly for my mind or also if I open well in the options of the vote? My God. To calm down my anxiety while waiting for the results, I told my friend if we went out for a bike ride in the afternoon, to calm down and spend energy and forget about it too. Punctually at 5.30 pm I waited for her outside the "lulo", a place where they sell complete, famous here in Talca. We went to "el Bajo", something like the periurban area of Talca, which borders the "río claro", there with nature and good vibes disappeared those nerves.

It was already 8.30 and we left the "bajo" and said that everyone should eat something at home and then we went out to celebrate, in our hearts we knew that we would win the approval. I arrived at my house, I go in and my mom says, he won the approval, and I as woowowoowo I do not have to throw myself into the river, since that was going to have to do if he won the rejection. After 30 minutes my cousin calls me and says - I'm outside your house, let's go to the plaza to celebrate?- and without thinking I grabbed my jacket and we went to the plaza. There it was all celebration, as if Chile had won a game, but we had won a new constitution. It was an incredible day thanks to people and facts that made this October 25th an unforgettable day.
